The VORTEXèr’s material is a carefully considered choice that delivers the perfect balance of safety, clarity, durability, and performance, ensuring you can use it daily with complete confidence.
It is crafted from a premium, BPA-free copolyester called Eastman Tritan™ TX2001. We chose this material because it uniquely combines the crystal clarity of glass with exceptional durability and absolute safety for your water. It is neither standard plastic nor glass, but a superior alternative designed for performance and peace of mind.
Safety & Purity
Your water’s purity is our priority. The VORTEXèr material is certified to the highest industry standards:
- NSF/ANSI Standard 61: The gold standard for drinking water system components, ensuring nothing harmful leaches into your water.
- NSF/ANSI Standard 51: Certified for food equipment materials, guaranteeing safety for repeated food contact.
- BPA-Free & More: It is completely free of bisphenol A (BPA), ortho-phthalates, and any estrogenic or androgenic activity. Its excellent hydrolytic stability means it won’t break down over time, so your water stays pure.
Clarity and Performance
We needed a material that was both practical and allowed you to witness the vortex in action.
- Crystal Clear: With over 92% light transmittance, you can clearly observe the beautiful vortex forming.
- Lightweight & Virtually Unbreakable: Unlike heavy, fragile glass, Tritan offers outstanding toughness. It’s resistant to the knocks and drops of daily kitchen use.
- Convenient & Durable: It is dishwasher safe and resistant to heat and chemicals, making it easy to keep hygienic for years to come.
Environment
The mold release agent used in manufacturing is derived from renewable vegetable sources. By creating a product built to last, we reduce the waste associated with frequently replaced or single-use containers.
For best results, we recommend fresh, filtered tap water. This sometimes surprises people, so let us explain why.
There’s an important difference between chemical purity (absence of contaminants) and structural potential (capacity to be revitalized).
Bottled water may be “pure”, but it has usually sat stagnant for months. Its molecular structure has relaxed toward disorder. Tap water flows continuously, so it’s fresher and more receptive to restructuring.
Why tap water works so well:
It contains natural minerals (calcium, magnesium) that act as nucleation sites during vortexing – they give the implosion process something to work with. If your water is chlorinated, simply let it sit uncovered for an hour or use a basic carbon filter first.
What about bottled water?
- Glass bottles – A good option if your tap water quality is poor. Just be aware that stagnation during storage has softened the water’s structure – the VORTEXèr will help restore it.
- Plastic bottles – We recommend avoiding these. Beyond stagnation, studies show plastic can shed micro- and nano-particles that the VORTEXèr cannot remove.
Can I use reverse osmosis or distilled water?
We don’t recommend them. These have been stripped of the minerals the vortex needs. They’re chemically pure but structurally “empty.” If this is your only option, add a tiny pinch of unrefined sea salt or a few drops of mineral concentrate to give the water something to work with.
What if my tap water isn’t great?
No problem. The VORTEXèr has two programs: the 3:20 cycle for everyday water, and the 7:30 cycle for water that’s lower quality or heavily treated. It is designed to help however it can.
Think of it like the difference between fresh spring water and water that’s been sitting in a plastic bottle for months. Both are “water” – but one feels noticeably more alive.
Regular Water (Tap or Bottled)
- Has traveled through straight pipes or sat stagnant in storage
- May contain chlorine taste and odour
- Lower dissolved oxygen from sitting still
- “Disconnected” – its natural structure has relaxed over time
Living Water (Vortexed)
- Has been moved the way nature moves water – in gentle spirals
- Cleaner taste – chlorine significantly reduced
- Higher dissolved oxygen – fresher, livelier quality
- Restored natural structure – reminded of how to “be water”
What does that mean in practical terms?
| Experience | Regular Water | Living Water |
|---|---|---|
| Mouthfeel | Ordinary, can feel “flat” | Smoother, silkier, “wetter” |
| Taste | May have chlorine or plastic notes | Clean, fresh, pure taste |
| In beverages | Good | Tea, coffee, soups taste more vibrant |
| Plants | They’ll drink it | Many gardeners report greener leaves, better growth |
| After drinking | Hydrating | Users often say it “feels” more hydrating |
Living Water is our way of describing water that has been restored to a more natural state. It’s the kind of water you’d find in a pristine mountain spring rather than water that has sat stagnant in pipes or plastic bottles.
Here’s what most people notice after using the VORTEXèr:
1. Smoother, softer feel: Living Water has a noticeably different mouthfeel – it’s often described as “silkier” or “wetter.” It glides more easily on the tongue and is very pleasant to drink.
2. Cleaner taste: If your tap water has chlorine you’ll likely notice it tastes “cleaner” afterward. The vortex motion helps chlorine gas release from the water naturally, the same way a glass of water left out will eventually lose its chlorine smell – but much faster.
3. Fresher quality: Water that sits stagnant loses oxygen over time. The vortex gently introduces fresh oxygen as it spins, giving the water a livelier, fresher quality.
4. Better beverages: Many users report that tea, coffee, and soups taste noticeably better when made with Livinf Water. The water seems to carry flavors more fully.
5. Happy plants: Gardeners often tell us their plants respond well to Living Water – greener leaves, more vigorous growth. Plants are sensitive to water quality, and they seem to prefer it.
The state of revitalisation depends largely on storage.
- Around 24-48 hours: Ideal storage in the VORTEXèr or glass container in a dark and cool place, away from electronics such as routers, refrigerators, and microwaves.
- Around 12-24 hours: Normal storage in glass jug on the kitchen table, with normal exposure to the room’s electronics.
- Around 2-6 hours: Poor storage in plastic or placed close to a refrigerator or router where energy can be neutralized quickly.
The best way to store Living Water is to use an amphora-shaped recipient made of glass (preferable blue glass, to keep the light out) or terracotta clay.
No. The device uses only movement – pure, gentle vortex motion. It adds nothing and removes nothing except dissolved gases like chlorine. It simply reminds water of how it was meant to move.
We don’t recommend it.
The VORTEXèr is designed to sit at room temperature. The vortexing process works best when water is allowed to gradually reorganize after spinning. A cold fridge environment slows down this natural restructuring.
However, you can put the finished vortexed water in the fridge once it’s done vortexing.
The Living Water will maintain its properties for 1-2 days when stored cold.
Some people have noticed mild, temporary sensations when they first begin drinking Living Water.
It is uncommon, but if it happens, think of it as “spring cleaning” for your body.
In nature, everything moves in cycles—seasons of growth, harvest, rest, and renewal. Our bodies are no different. When we consistently drink water that has been forced through straight pipes under pressure, or water that has sat stagnant in bottles for months, the water inside us can lose some of its natural vitality and order over time. Slowly we can drift away from how nature intended.
When you introduce structured, vortexed water filled with movement and energy of a living stream, you’re returning your body to what it naturally recognizes. This return can encourage the body’s own cleansing processes. Things that have been stagnant may begin to move. It is a positive sign if your body responds to something it recognizes as wholesome.
It can temporarily feel like:
- Mild fatigue
- Slight headache
- Increased thirst or urination
- Subtle digestive shifts
These sensations typically last only a few days. They are similar to what some people experience when spending more time in nature, eating simpler foods, or drinking more water generally. It’s the body saying, “I notice this difference, and I’m responding.”
How to make the transition gently:
If you’re curious but cautious, simply start slowly.
Begin with one small glass of VORTEXèr water per day for the first few days, then gradually increase to your normal water intake. This gives your body time to adjust at its own pace.
Most people notice nothing but smoother taste and better hydration from the very first glass. For those who do experience a mild response, it’s almost always brief and followed by a sense of improved well-being.
As with any change in your wellness routine, we simply invite you to listen to your body. It has its own wisdom about what it needs. And if you have specific questions about your own situation, we encourage you to speak with a healthcare provider who understands the role of water in supporting the body’s natural processes.
